About me

I was born in Paris in 1996 before moving to the USA. It was on Long Island, NY, where I lived until the age of 7, that I developed my love for the outdoors, particularly my affection for swim, bike and run.

I raced my first triathlon in 2011 and started training more consistently when I went to university in 2014 to study engineering. 2018 was my first year racing internationally, and a 4th place at the Larache African Cup encouraged me to invest more in triathlon and “give it a go”.

I moved to the UK where I started a Master’s of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath and joined a stellar group of international athletes. In October 2019 I raced my first 70.3 at Challenge Peguera-Mallorca. In a race where everything went wrong, I came away with 7th; from there, the focus moved to long distance triathlon.

In October 2020, I started working with Rob and Susie Cheetham, and with the support of Susie’s sponsors, we set out to qualify for Kona by 2022, and see if I could be a viable athlete by the time I finished my studies. Things went much quicker than expected. In 2021, I finished 3rd at IM UK for my debut at the distance, qualifying for Ironman World Champs. I then went on to win Embrunman and IM Mallorca in record times; and a number of other podiums propelled me from 420th to 22nd in the PTO World Rankings.

In 2022, I finished my Master’s of Chemical Engineering and am embarking on my journey as a full-time professional athlete, kickstarting the season with 6th at IM World Champs. What’s next?

My passion for engineering hasn’t left me, and I still love to stay informed on what’s currently happening in the engineering world, especially in the sustainable energy sector. My ultimate goal is perhaps to balance professional sport with part-time engineering consultancy work.

Other hobbies involve skiing, surfing, walking and generally being active outdoors. Indoors, I like to read, cook, listen to music or watch a good series like ‘Downton Abbey’.
