The 2021 Ironman World Championships were postponed to May 7th, 2022 and moved to St George, UT away from their usual venue in Kailua-Kona, HI. This was Leon’s first time racing at a world championship event, and despite a tricky preparation which coincided with the final project of his MEng Chemical Engineering degree, Leon snatched 6th place.
